What our visitors thought this year

Have you seen our Facebook and Tripadvisor pages?  We got some lovely comments through the year!  Here are some highlights

The views from the ramparts are spectacular.

The recent restoration of the castle is a great success.

The castle is gorgeous & the little independent shops, cafe bars & restaurants all down the hill are fabulous.

A thoroughly enjoyable way to spend an hour or more.

Brill huge beautiful castle that all ages will enjoy.

One word: FAB if you have not been yet go now.

One of The Best Castles in South Wales.

We also got some constructive feedback on the things people would like us to do better – foremost of which is a desire for more interpretation / information boards around the castle – we’ll be looking into this over the winter season.

Another challenge (though one common across Mumbles!) is the lack of parking.

Here are our best suggestions! Now added to the local area map.

Quarry car park
Quite small but very handy for the castle.

The Dairy
Probably the first place people try – gets busy quickly in summer!

Oystermouth Foreshore
Limited spaces and a bit of a walk but sometimes quieter.

All of the above are Pay and Display at a rate of:
£0.50 /hour
£1.20 /2 hours
£4.50 /all day
